ABOUT LA MESTIZA

La Mestiza represents the blending of cultures that give life to Mexican cuisine. Our name honors the rich fusion of indigenous, Spanish, and other global influences that define the diverse flavors of Mexico.

At La Mestiza, we bring you small, flavorful plates inspired by the traditional street food, market fare, and family recipes found throughout Mexico. Each bite is a journey through the vibrant regions of the country.

Antonio began his culinary journey in humble roles—bartender, server, and kitchen helper—describing himself as a “hitchhiker of Mexican cuisine,” collecting inspiration and knowledge along the way. Our team’s experience spans culinary hotspots like Mexico City, Jalisco, Michoacán, and Northern Mexico.

Our head chef, Esthela, brings over 25 years of experience and a deep-rooted passion for cooking. Her seasoning and flavors aren’t just learned—they’re inherited. She’s the soul of our kitchen, and every dish reflects her artistry and heritage.
